2. Mesopelagic Zone (Twilight Zone – 200 to 1,000 m)
Although this layer is reached by sunlight, it is too weak to permit photosynthesis.

3.Bathypelagic Zone (Midnight Zone – 1,000 to 4,000 m)

Food drifting down from above or predation upon other creatures in the deep is what the creatures here, including anglerfish, giant squid, and gulper eels, live on.
4. Abyssopelagic Zone (Abyss – 4,000 to 6,000 m)
The coldest extreme environment found in the ocean.
Where bizarre deep-sea organisms like the vampire squid and sea cucumbers reside.
Here the pressure is crashing, thousands of times stronger than at the surface.
5. Hadopelagic Zone (The Trenches – 6,000 to 11,000 m)
Should be present in deep ocean trenches like the Mariana Trench.
Here, very few known creatures survive, except for some extremophiles that adapt to thrive under these fiercest conditions.
This zone is home to some of the deepest living creatures on record, such as snailfish.
What Are Deep-Sea Creatures?
Deep-sea animals are the marine organisms that live in the bathypelagic, abyssopelagic, and hadopelagic zones. The depth of these zones ranges from 1,000 meters to more than 10,000 meters below the surface of the ocean. Darkness, temperature extremes, and crushing pressure at these depths create environments in which most living organisms cannot survive.

First and foremost, climate change has a big role to play. Unprecedented ocean warming is occurring from higher levels of greenhouse gas emissions. Deep-sea life accustomed to a cold and stable environment could migrate up as deep-sea waters grow warmer and decrease in oxygen.
2. Underwater Volcanic Eruptions and the Seismic Activity
Underwater volcanic eruptions and earthquakes disturb deep-sea habitat, displacing animals from their natural habitats. An increase in seismic activity with the tectonic movements has lately been linked to the deep-sea creatures being shoved nearer to the surface.
3. Deep-Sea Mining and Human Exploiting
